Congratulations to our March Athlete of the Month Heather Ryder. Heather is a paramedic who started training with us in April 2017. A former varsity softball player, Heather is a naturally gifted athlete who has completed dedicated herself over the past 12 months to becoming the fittest and strongest athlete possible.
Shortly after joining, Heather started on our nutrition program and completely transformed her body while getting significantly stronger. She recently PR’d her back Squat at 230lbs and Power Cleaned 180lbs. In her first CrossFit Open this year, she was able rep out some advanced gymnastics movements including Toes to Bar, Chest to Bar, and Handstand Push-ups! Her future as a Crossfitter is very bright.
In addition to her athletic feats, Heather always brings a very positive attitude with her to the gym and she’s become an inspiration to us all.
