Our standard WOD classes aim to develop each of the ten core elements of fitness: Cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy.
Generally classes consist of functional movements derived from weightlifting, powerlifting, plyometrics, gymnastics, and metabolic condition. The format and programming of classes combine elements of traditional Olympic lifting, strength, and circuit training.
These classes are fairly technical and physically demanding, but they are scalable to any level of fitness.
Our bootcamp classes are similar to standard classes, but carry a slight endurance bias and are less technical. We recommend these classes for athletes looking to building stamina and members interested in maximizing caloric expenditure. These are also a great class to start with if you are new to functional fitness.
Our Fitness Light classes are derived from the principles of functional fitness, but scaled to abilities of new athletes, mature athletes, and athletes with physical limitations. The program is intended for individuals with limited weightlifting experience and/or physical limitations that inhibit their ability to perform some of the more advanced movements. We recommend these classes to anyone interested in improving their functional fitness without the intensity or technical nature of our more advanced classes.
Each of our trainers are certified and available to work with our members and clients who are interested in customized one-on-one training.
